The Religious Diversity Journeys program intends to promote a greater understanding, awareness and knowledge concerning the many religions throughout the metro-Detroit area. 600 students participate in six school-day field trips that focus on the differences and similarities among the many celebrated religions. The programs connect students to Judaism followed by Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism, and Buddhism.
If I can do something that's about children, help youth today realize that we're more alike than different, maybe we can change the future and put the world on a more peaceful path.
